About Me
I’m a Clinical Psychologist based in Hampshire, working therapeutically with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a range of difficulties. I also offer supervision, training and consultation to staff and teams. I can offer support nationally via secure online video appointments.

What I offer
As a Clinical Psychologist, I’m trained in more than one therapeutic approach, which allows me to tailor treatment to you, using using a variety of approaches including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Systemic Therapy. Psychological formulation runs throughout my work; this means together we’ll think about your past experiences, current difficulties and your strengths to help us understand what’s led you to seek help.

My training and experience
I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). I work in the NHS and in the private sector with children, adolescents and their families, as well as adults with mental health difficulties. I also offer supervision, training and consultation to staff and teams. Within the NHS, I currently work at the Child Psychology team within Southampton Children’s Hospital. As part of this role, I work with the University of Southampton, as a Clinical Psychology Placement Supervisor, and Honorary Lecturer. Qualifications:

After qualifying with my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2018, I worked for four years within NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Within this role I worked with children aged 5+ with complex needs, providing assessment, formulation and therapy, both on a 1:1 basis and with families, as well as supporting collaborative working with other involved agencies, such as schools and Children’s Services. Within this role I also led complex neuropsychology assessments and contributed to assessments for ADHD and ASC.
In early 2022 I began my current role in the Child Psychology team at Southampton Children’s Hospital. Here, I support children, adolescents and their families, with complex health needs. I also involves provide psychological consultation and support to physical health multi-disciplinary teams within paediatrics.
I love working as a Clinical Psychologist and building therapeutic relationships with the young people and families I support. I strive to be friendly and supportive, whilst offering evidence-based approaches that can meet their needs.
What to expect: Session and fees
Initial Appointment: The first appointment is an assessment with me, and takes up to 90 minutes. I will ask you some questions, and you can talk me through the areas you would like help with, in your own words. The assessment is tailored to you but will usually involve gathering of information about all areas of your life (e.g. family background, social support, school, work, health). Towards the end of the appointment we will discuss what support I could offer you (if appropriate). This appointment is also a chance for you to get to know me, and to decide if I am the right person to support you. The fee for an assessment session is £175. Further sessions: A plan for further sessions, tailored to your needs, will be made at the initial assessment if appropriate. Typically these sessions are weekly or once a fortnight and last 50 minutes. The number of ongoing sessions needed varies from person to person and this is something we can discuss together. The fee for ongoing sessions £120.
